Photos and Videos in the BSC Areas
EMP takes photos and videos of the visitors in the BSC Areas on the basis of Art. 6.1 (f) GDPR (legitimate interests of the controller). The photos / videos are stored, processed and published as part of our press and public relations work and as part of promotions on the EMP homepages, in the EMP app, EMP catalogues and the EMP social media channels (facebook and Instagram). If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please speak directly to the photographers in the BSC area.
Interview recordings outside the BSC areas
EMP conducts interviews with visitors on the festival grounds and publishes the recordings of the interviews as a live stream via Twitch. In addition, EMP may also publish the recordings as part of a promotional video. The legal basis for this is EMP's legitimate advertising (Art. 6.1 (f) GDPR). Please speak to our camera team, if you do not agree with the publication of your interview recordings.
Storage period
Image and sound recordings not used after the event will be stored for a period of two years and then destroyed. Published recordings will be deleted from the EMP homepages, the EMP app, the EMP catalogues and social media channels as well as other publication media after two years and then destroyed.
Your rights
If you would like to access, review, correct, update, suppress, restrict or delete Personal Information that you previously provided to us, if you would like to object to our use of your personal data, or if you would like to request to receive an electronic copy of your personal data for purposes of transmitting it to another company (to the extent this right to data portability is provided to you by applicable law), you may contact us at datenschutz@emp.de. We will respond to your request consistent with applicable law. In your request, please make clear which personal data you would like to have changed, whether you would like to have your personal data suppressed from our da-tabase or otherwise let us know what limitations you would like to put on our use of your personal data. For your protection, we may only implement requests with respect to the personal data associated with the particular email address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before implementing your re-quest. We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable. Please note that we may need to retain certain information for recordkeeping purposes and/or to complete any transactions that you began prior to requesting a change or dele-tion (e.g., when you make a purchase or enter a promotion, you may not be able to change or delete the Personal Information provided until after the completion of such purchase or promotion).
